Freelance work
Elna Smith & Johan Smit Wedding Stationery
This is one of my bigger freelance jobs I have been working on since last year. A lot of detail go into designing wedding stationery. Colour, texture, shape and tones are all things to consider.
This project has been a great learning curve for me. Working closely with a person’s personal taste, adding you own stamp in the design and having to make a brilliant mixture of the two.
I was asked to design the wedding stationery at first, but somehow got myself into coordinating the entire wedding. From décor, to gifting, to finding the right people to do hair and make-up and even getting someone special to do the wedding cake.
It was been a lot of hard work and completely worth every minute of it. I is very rewarding seeing the look on the bride’s face every time we have a meeting.
